Odd marked striata.

Post by mickthefish » Fri Mar 20, 2009 4:49 pm

Big Neil was let down with these as well, they only sent 4 pieces over and one of them was a bloody almorhae. so i just picked the four up as i like my almorhae.
here's a couple of pics of the striata, the two biggest are roughly 3 inches TL.
but the diddy one is the type i wanted the most.

Andy has a thought that this type of oddly marked striata might come from a certain section of water, as once in BAS they had a huge shipment of them and every one had the same scribbled pattern there was'nt any normal marked among them?.

Mike is correct. They are all excellent, but the one you got Mick is really something different. Just gorgeous! We will be curious to see how it develops.

That's a beauty Mick! The others as well. I've been hoping to find one of those lovely oddballs. My LFS had one a while back but I didn't have a place for it.
