A note for all posters

Post by Mark in Vancouver » Mon Jul 10, 2006 8:58 pm

I'd like to encourage all posters on this forum to please enter your location into your user profile. A large number of posters have left themselves fairly anonymous. This is, of course, your right, but it's nice to have at least a country of origin shown.

One of the best aspects of this forum is its international flavour. It's something we should celebrate, in my opinion.

Absolutely Mark. It's also of enormous help if someone asks a question like "Where can I get........locally".

Not much point in answering if you're in another country.

Also, it's interesting to know there's a loach nut in the next town to you.

We are not alone........

Martin.

I believe mine just says Iowa which is in the states... but I don't like to give exact cities too easy to find in this lower populated area.

Thanks, friends. Most of us are in North America, with the majority in the US, I'd wager. But we get posts from all over Europe and some fortunate insights from Asia, the Caribbean, Down Under and far and away.

Please continue to show your local pride on this forum - even your state or region is better than being anonymous.
