Nemacheilus pallidus, one of the more common species of loach, can be found in sandy bottom, slow current part of the stream.
Pseudogobiopsis siamensis is very wide spread in Thailand. They can be found in various kind of habitat from white water to blackish and brackish. Maybe they are not the same species!!!
Doryichthys martensii can be found along the stream bank where they is a lot of plant debris and vegetation.
Acantopsoides sp. live in small group in the sandy bottom part of the stream with light current.
Young Hampala macrolepidota are cute but this predatory fish can't be trust. This little guy ate an Acantopsoides about the same length while in our transport bag!!!
It was difficult to locate this fish but we found two. Very nice!!
