PVC gets installed too, but is rare around here.

The stainless steel setup for the entire one family house would have been only 500Euro more than the zink :evil: (material is more expensive, but labour requires less hours, as it is easier to install (easier to cut?).

My understanding is that new copper plumbing might be an issue. The inside of the pipe hasn't had a chance to get that green coating yet, so it's leaching a lot of copper and other things into the water.
