A little nippy !

Post by Northern Monkey » Fri May 29, 2009 3:51 pm

I am finding the ones at the shop a little nippy with fish I put with them .
This may not be a fair ?
There are some marks on the silversharks I put in with them ...
What have you guys seen them up to ?
In all fairness they are probably in bigger tanks than at the shop with less stocking density .. The fish are quite close as the tanks are shallow 13"

Ive been away for a week and my Dad has been putting in frozen food every other day for me and he said the splendida were into the food faster than the Danio's.

He did say that one day when he arrived 4 or 5 of the splendida were up swimming at the surface with the danio's and one of them does have a nipped tail, having seen the Danios nipping each other before I went and looking at the shape of the nips and the fact that it is only one of them with damage I think other Danios have done the damage.
