Skin/Scale

Post by andyroo » Sun Jun 14, 2009 5:17 pm

Observations:
Different skin/scaling textures in wide-ranging species.
I see it in my Y. modesta (purple/orange have smooth/velvet texture, blue/yellow has satin "shine" as though micro-scaled).
I see similar between my tiny (neck-bubbled) clown with very clean/clear skin, and the ones in the shop these days (some/most also neck-bubbled) which have a satin "shine".
Anyone else has seen this?
Eventually i'll get off my behind and provide photos....
