What is fish of Gastromyzon called in Malay?
I look forward to a photograph of "G. extrorsus".

Gastromyzon in malay is called Ikan Rokot

I'm just about to finish editing the video of the suckers swimming I captured. Will post it all up soon :D

as promised, I just finish uploading the pics and video of G. aeroides and G. extrorsus. I also post infos about the water parameters.

Wonderful....Marvelous!!! Thanks Borneosucker!! 29.56, Yikes!! It seems that they can tolerate quite range of temps. PH and KH were a good bit different than the last test also. Is the high temp due to low water/dry season conditions?

I suspect that the temperature could be due to the drought. But then again, I took the reading around afternoon. Temperature definitely will drop few degrees in the night.....Probably the species we are discussing might be able to tolerate those temperature range :)

I am glad to have you show rare Gastromyzons.

The water temperature of a flowing river is surprisingly high in 29.56 °C.

Because the temperature of the air will be considerably higher than water temperature, it seems to be extremely hot!!
I am not used to English. Therefore,It is likely to sometimes misunderstand it.

I'm glad you guys are happy with my simple informations, I will look out for more rare Gastromyzon and share their pics with you guys, when time permits.

Oh odyssey, the atmosphere is even hot, I guess average of 34°C everyday. Sometimes even higher. Very hot weather here in Sabah this days. It just make you feel like dipping yourself in the river/waterfall...haha :D

can you do me a favour next time you have a chance...to pick up some stones to check what creatures live around and on the stones?? what consistence is the ground made of ? sand gravel or mud??

how are the stones if you touch them...filthy, clean, dusty?

these infos would be great...
