Yoyo loach going silver (NOT graying out)

Post by raecarrow » Sat Jun 20, 2009 9:01 pm

Hello everyone,

I have had some of my yoyo's "gray out" (when they turn almost completely white). Lately though, one of my loaches has been turning almost solidly silver and another one that will have his white portions turn gray will still showing the black yoyo markings. Is this normal or could it be that these "yoyos" aren't reallly yoyos?

I wish I could get pictures but all I have is a cell phone camera and it doesn't do so well.

Thanks,
Rae

I wish I could help. I wouldn't mind knowing the answer. You need to have a loach portrait made. :)

Thanks for the response star.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Wow, I think this is the first time I've never had even a half answer before.

I do not think that anyone is ignoring you. I just have not seen this before, but I will watch out for this situation with my loaches.

Gotcha, I'll keep an eye out for it happening again and I will try to get some pictures.

Thanks.
