I've certainly considered getting more :) I'm not opposed to increasing the numbers, just need to catch one of the managers at the lfs on a really good day to get an exceptionally good price on the 6, or so, they have left :D :D

Here is a picture of my 'big' sid. She is almost two years old. She is one of 33+ that I have.

Yep, still got the Sids, still a group of only 13. I gained one extra last year as a charity case from the lfs (My Rescued Sid.) which took me to 14. Unfortunately about 3 weeks ago one of the original 13 got crushed by a river stone collapsing in the tank  I re-scaped the tank shortly after to make sure it couldn't happen again, and caught most of the fish out to do a head-count.

They get fed 3 times a day, morning feed is usually some earthworm pellet, lunch is either frozen or live foods, and evening feed is any two of prepared tablet foods (Hikari sinking carnivore pellets and JBL Novotabs are favourites) They are wise to the very greedy cichlids in the tank and will cover food too big to carry in their mouths, and then shuffle it back into the stonework :D They are not as adept at it as the B. striata though :)

Some of the smaller Sids have grown a little but, the biggest one doesn't seem to have grown any further. She's 2.5" TL, I measured her when I did the head count :)

You won't regret getting a group, they are fun :)
