I have two well behaved skunks and a nice tiger that live with Clowns. But I wouldn't put them together because of their reputation. I had them together before I knew there was a problem. I would have more of each fish, but can't find them at the moment. I love my skunks. They live with gold tetras, Bristlenoses, a farlowela and Killie fish. No problems for any one.
My tiger is sharing a cave with my clowns right this moment. I thought one nose looked darker than the rest.

Since I met this forum I did not know about this combination. Most agree that skunk are not good tankmates to clown. well... I am intentionaly trying this combination right now. I got 5 small clowns and put them with my 5 skunk in a 200 liter tank. They are there together for about 2 months now. No isues between them. I know it´s too early to say but something tells me they can live together.

I have 4 Skunks in my main Loach tank and they have no issues with any of the Clown Loaches although they do take issue with one other species and despite only ranging in size from 1.5"-2" they have no problems tackling the Y.modesta who are at least 4"-6" long and many times their size.
Although I don't really recommend it if you must do or really want to then I suggest many, many retreats and plenty of space in the tank.
My Skunks tend to to stay in one part of a 125 uk gallon tank and only target the larger Modesta at feeding time.

So many species of fish yet so little time, space and money to keep them all...
