sewellia sp fry - elongata?

Post by ch.koenig » Fri Sep 11, 2009 4:01 pm

hi all
just saw a shadow in the tank with lineolata, elongata and sp. a lineolata chasing a 20 mm youngster. for 2-3 seconds it seemed to be a single lineolata with 20 adults. half an hour later I could shoot some pictures:

may be I've already forgotten how small lineolatas or spotted look like, but this one is different, isn't it? :D already formed as a "real" sewellia, big patterns and yellow dorsal and caudal fin .. is that the first elongata??? would be a very very very nice surprise ...
interesting that elongata won't chase him away ... does the juvenile pattern work ?
what do you say?
cheers charles

I think I would say lineolata but like Jim not 100% but I think I would lean more towards lineolata than any other.

Mind you what ever it is, it is a baby loach and thats excellent :D
