Buying clowns

Post by millsn » Sun Oct 04, 2009 1:44 pm

I've got only three clowns now after losing two and they're not as happy as they were with the distraction of two others. I'd like to get two more but can't seem to find any of a similar size. Mine are 3-4" long but most on sale are very small indeed. Does anyone know of a good place to source clowns in/around/near Peterborough or Bedford in the UK?

You can get the smaller ones. Quarantine and treat for parasites and diseases, then they will grow really fast. Loaches seem to be OK with other fish the same species that are smaller (perhaps half the size of the larger)
I have mixed 4" Clown Loaches with 2" Clown Loaches
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
