Skunks and Hillstream?

Post by tender » Thu Oct 15, 2009 12:47 pm

Hi!
I have a 120l Skunk tank with 9 skunks. This is the tank with the most aeration and circulation of all my tanks. I was wondering what you thought about the idea of adding a Sewellia Lineolata (or 2) in this tank??

I know that skunks can be quite feisty buggers, but has anyone tried this combo? Somehow I imagine that they are such a big and established group that they will keep the aggresion within theyre own group. But I wanted to hear with you guys first as I really don`t have any experience with Hillstreams :)

Oh, by the way... I have a lot of backup tanks if it doesn`t work out. But theres no point in trying if it`s useless to begin with!

Kind regards
Marius

I would not even attempt it.
I have kept Sewellia with sidthimunki and B. rostrata with no problems, but skunks are much more aggressive.
