Thinking about breeding these:

Mini-Dragon Loach (Schristura pridii)

I have nine of them, and based on available information, it would be in my, and the fish, best interest to breed them.

Any thoughts on the matter?

Go for it mate and good luck :)

Several people with limited experience have already tried and reported what seem to be egg laden females but nothing else.

From my own experience's of spawning loaches I would just say get them settled in a mature tank with plenty of hiding places and cover and leave them to it, maybe even experiment with water temps in general and during water changes and even extending the period between water changes a little, one of these could well be the trigger to start spawning.

Keep us updated :)

Pardon my honesty - I am a Northerner

14 loach species bred, which will be next?
