Related, but not the same, is my guess. However, the spot pattern can vary quite a lot.

Very nice looking!

Yes, but the right genus is "Misgurnus" and not "Misgurnis" as in the link. I would say it is a nice spotted male of M. anguillicaudatus.

I've had this fish for over five years and it is very slender.

I would never buy a 'dojo' on pupose 8)

Hi Martin,

Glad to hear it is only a mistake and not a revision that I've missed...

please can you do the same in the alphabetical species index? In the descriptions self is it right. Sorry Dave for the Offtopic.
