with regret, selling my Clowns and Kuhlis

Post by sunshine » Wed Jun 02, 2010 12:18 pm

Well, it's been a long time since I was a regular visitor to this site. A little background info on me first. I have been keeping Clown and Kuhli Loaches for 10+ yrs now, and have loved every minute of it. I currently have a 55 gallon which houses 3 Clowns, ranging from 4-7" that I have had for 9-10 yrs. I purchased them all as small fellows, between 1-2 inches. The Kuhlis (5 or 6 of them) are fat and healthy (when they sneak out to eat and I actually see them) and I've had them for about the same amount of time. I have a child now, and she has lots of extracurricular activities, as well I have taken on a lot more personal responsibilities recently. With regret, I have decided the best thing I can do for my sanity and my fish's health is to break down the tank and get them to someone who will love and take care of them for the rest of their lives. I have pics I can e-mail if anyone is interested. I live in NC, near Asheville, and other than personal pick up, not really sure I would want to do any other delivery.. I have no idea as to a fair price to ask, more importantly I want them going to a good home. If anyone is interested, please respond to this, or contact me personally at 828-442-6842. Would love to hear suggestions on a fair price, or any idea what to do with them even if you are not interested personally in them. Thanks so much folks, and hopefully as my crazy hectic life slows down over the years, I will once again be a keeper of fish, as they have brought much joy and satisfaction to my life. :)
