People post DYI on here all the time. If it something you use with loaches, I am pretty sure people post it in the loach section. I think everyone here appreciates DYI with pictures. I have seen some spectacular stuff on here.

Here's an example posted by Keith W. http://forums.loaches.com/viewtopic.php ... t=yourself

Here's another great post by chefkeith.

Both of them are posted in the loach forum.

Out here it's either "get creative" DIY, import it at some idiotic cost or do without. I prefer the first- keeps my brain from melting.

I am honored to be mentioned above and I second the statement that we love to see DIY projects here. We all benefit from any and all ideas.

I love hearing about new or old DIY projects or ideas. I've received a ton of support at this forum. The people here can help turn a simple idea into something wonderful.

There are a few fish forums out there where the members aren't as helpful. Some I don't agree with at all because of their practice of keeping loaches with large aggressive fish. I'll lurk at those forums anyway because some of the DIY ideas those people have are brilliant. I just won't post anything at those forums.
