Clowns

Post by ahmandi2 » Wed Nov 17, 2010 3:22 pm

You so eloquently said what I felt when my fishies died...about not taking away our memories. And mine, I only had for a month or so, and I still had a tough time with the loss!!
You're in the right place, no doubt about it.

For what it's worth, and it's obviously a bit late; Protozin has a really nasty piece of small print. The main instructions say to use X so much of the stuff per litre. Then the small print says to only use half this IF you're not using undergravel filtration.

Worth bearing in mind.

I also vaguely recall seeing things like don't use UV lights when dosing (this is just something in the back of my mind so I'm not sure where I readu it) but certainly not to use carbon.

UV Light

I agree; I've seen the Do Not Use UV filter while using xx medication. But it's always there, in that TEEEEENY Print. If it's not, then it's not a factor and uv through treatment is fine...
I hope the new medication is working for you!!!

New fish will undoubtedly bring ich with them, even if they're quarantined and have no visible symptoms.

Ive look at the small print cant find anything about using half if not using undergravel filteration, Wish they would state things like this a bit more clearer, as you say though its to late anyway.
