how many loaches?

Post by sh79 » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:15 pm

when i up grade my clowns to a 125 what would be a good number of skunk and blue biota for a 90 gallon 48x18x24 tank? the other inhabitants will be 1 red tail shark and 21-30 tiger barbs and 2 blue guoramis, i was thinking of 5 of each loach as most of the fish stay small.
SKOL VIKINGS!!!!

Blue/orange-fin (Y. modesta) get 10" or so- one of the bigger botia-types... though it probably takes a while. For all intents and purposes they are as big as clowns but are more boisterous so might need more space per inch/animal... and current. 90 should be good for a couple of years, but expect to upgrade (read: look forward to/excuse to upgrade).
