Now I've got to re-plan for the extra 10gal. I've got a stand idea that my father will be helping me build, but I'm still designing the hood and lighting.
For the lights, I want LEDs. After some research, I've found that 36watts from LED lights covers the 180watts I would have needed with other setups. My only problem is deciding what to get.
I'll post the lighting setups as I find then, but I really want any suggestions. I don't have much aquatic or electrical background (Thank goodness my dad works in electrical!

One such lighting option is available at my local hardware store.

These are high-output LEDs and I'm afraid that they will be too bright for my loaches. The price is right and they are energy efficient, but I don't want to upset my loach babies.

Anyone have experience in these? Dimming them is an option, but I'd like feedback before taking the 'plunge'.

New option!
Digikits 48" LED Moonlight bars. Anybody ever hear of them?
I prefer the blue tinted lights and judging by how my loaches act, I think they do too. Opinions?
