150 gallon tank :D

Post by botiaboy » Tue Dec 28, 2010 5:56 pm

Hey everyone I'm back :D after a very long and even more drawn out move ( we are talking a full year in limbo :P) I have lost nearly all of my fish and so I am completely free in terms of tank space. I just set up the 150 gallon I have been waiting so long for and since I'm stuck on what to do I just thought i'd ask you all... if you got a 48x24x30 150 gallon tank, 500 watts of heaters and a great eheim canister filter, what would you put in the tank?
My loaches:
5 kubotai
5 almorhae
5 kuhli
5 zebra
1 aborichthys

The 4' length will be the problem. Stick with smaller, friendlier fish, there is not enough room for lower ranking fish to get out of the way if someone becomes a bully.
The large volume of water makes it easy to maintain good quality.
The deep back to front measurement makes this a great tank for aquascaping.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
