Hello corius,

First of all, I would have 5+ Clown loaches, not 4. I also recomend use of big leaf plants like Anubia. Cave rocks and wood are also very apreciated.

Marcos.

Less direct light. More cover in the middle and upper regions of the tank. Driftwood works great for that. They love snug fitting caves also. 2" -3" PVC pipe is excellent for that. They love water current also, so adding another filter or powerhead pump would be appreciated.

thank you for your advice i went with 2 smaller lights on the tank and a timer to where it will alternate between the 2 lights on an 12 hour schedual so the plants can get light and half the tank will still be out of direct light. Also i need to ask where can i find decent driftwood since the the LFS around here just has the fake driftwood im wanting to use real for the placo that will be in the tank with them

again thank you everyone for your advice it really helps

I've ordered a few dozen pieces of driftwood from here: http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories ... -Driftwood
They have the best prices I've seen.
