Hello!
Hello! I am new here and I came here to learn as much as I can about clown loaches as I love them. I have three clown loaches currently. I hope to find answers to my questions about sick clown loaches and clown loach care. I want my clown loaches to live a very long time. Right now I have a 7 inch, 5 1/2 inch, and 4 inch clown loaches. I have them in a 55 gallon fishtank, but I plan to get a bigger tank when I can save up enough money for a 125 gallon fishtank so that I can have more clown loaches. I have had my clown loaches for 6 years. I got interested in them when I saw a huge one in a bigger fishtank in a petstore and saw how beautiful they are. I hope that I will find this forum very informative and helpful.

Re: Hello!
Thank you ClownLoachSharky! I hope that I do get a bigger tank than my 55 gallon and I get more clown loaches. Clown loaches are great to watch while they grow because they grow slowly. You can enjoy them when they are little and when they get big, they are even more amazing. I cannot wait until mine get huge.
Did you know that you can start out with a 20 gallon fishtank for clown loaches. All you have to do is get two baby clown loaches and put them in a 20 gallon fishtank. It is perfect because like I said they grow slowly. I started with a 20 gallon fishtank because of the maintenance involved. It really isn't that difficult. Then when the clowns get bigger, I got a bigger tank and they have been in the 55 gallon ever since.

Re: Hello!
Hi, this is the place to be for Clown Loaches and their keepers.
I started with Clown Loaches for the same reasons you did.
I started with my 90 gallon tank, though I was recommended 20 gallon by my LFS.
Mine also grew very slowly and are growing still.
