Thank you.
Managed to get some pictures of the Leptobotias. Did a little refurbishing today so will hopefully get some full tank shots in the next day or two.

Couple of full tank shots. Those with a better memory than mine will note this is not an 8 foot tank, it is 6 foot x 30" x 30" (1840mm x 755 x 755).
Filtration is high to maintain the flow the loaches like:
1x Eheim 2080
1x Eheim 2260
1x Fluval FX5
1x Tetratec EX2400
2x Eheim 2252 Internal
1x 35W UV steriliser
HMA filter running at approx 50-75 litres per day constant trickle feed with overflow drain (it's quite scary drilling holes in glass!).
As this tank is in a single wall back room, there is a 500W heater just in case it gets really cold but it rarely comes on, the filters usually generate enough heat to keep it around 18 - 21C. In the summer I have to use a cooler which is an in-line beer cooler, much cheaper and far more efficient than the proper aquarium coolers.
When it gets to freezing point outside I do need to remember to shut off the HMA water inlet because the water trickling outside through the overflow has been known to freeze. It hasn't blocked it yet but you just know it's going to happen one day!
