The tan one is the one I have exactly. http://aqualandpetsplus.com/Bug,%20Snai ... Rabbit.htm

They look like a rabbit face with ears. Mine's called a chocolate. :)

Here's how cool these snails can be. http://www.garfishindo.com/snail.html

An orange one can be $12+.

yea ive got a little 6 gallon which is a bugge to clean. ive thought of snails as australia has some awesome native ones but just the thought of dipping my hand to get to a plant etc and touching one of those slimey buggers makes me shiver. so no snails for me!

I love snails. As a little kid my mom hated cleaning out the pockets of my clothing because they would be filled with snails (the shelled ones) and other things.

To vacuum deeper into the sand without sucking it up use the style of gravel vac that has an oval intake. (not round).
Hold it at an angle and allow only half of the intake to go into the sand. Then drag it backwards, do not push into the sand.
Go slow, allowing the sand to fall around the gravel vac.

I used a smaller round gravel vac with pool sand in smaller tanks. My technique was to push the vac straight down & very quickly pull it up to let the sand fall. My sand was 2 inches deep at most, 20 grit (or mesh) sized sand. For finer pool sand or larger tanks I used Diana's vacuuming style.
