I Have Baby Kuhlis!
I did a big post-levamisole treatment water change on the 120g loach tank today and accidentally shut off my Eheim Pro canister filter. In the process of priming it for re-start I usually put a brine shrimp net on the out flow to keep bacterial mulm from clouding up the display tank. I did this as usually today but this time after the punp restarted I discovered a 1" striped Kuhli fry in the net! I'm really surprised to find him given that the tank has had a theraputic level of levamisole in it for the past 2 days.
He probably has brothers and sisters in the canister filter, but I don't want to remove them because they're only the size of large bloodworms right now and I don't want themto get eaten by the much bigger Clowns and other fish in the tank. I also don't want to let this little guy loose in the tank for the same reason so I'm soing to the fish ship to find a baby fish box I can keep in the tank until he gets bigger. At his size I imagine he'll take crushed flake or brine shrimp napuli, but is there anything else I should be doing for him? Here's a photo of the little guy:

Wow! What a great find. Thanks for posting a picture. It seems that Kuhlies arrive accidently.

What a cool find, congrats! Can't you set up a small tank somewhere for him/them?
