I like the pattern on this Histionica, especially the tail, much bolder lines than on a YoYo

Sure, I have about 8 dwarf chain loaches, so I think I have more photos, I will take a look tomorrow ...

I got mine from two sources.
One group was very skinny and a few died within a couple of weeks, but the rest went on to thrive

I love that they are usually swimming together in a group

I wish I could get more dwarf chain loaches, have you seen any recently in the GTA ?

Hey Loach fans,

At the beginning of December, a friend of mine gave me his last Syncrossus berdmorei loach.
It was very skinny, I could barely look at it without shuddering, his others had died over several months.
He had a group of them in with African Cichlids, but I suspect that the cichlids ate the food before it fell
to the bottom of the tank for the loaches

Four weeks later and this loach is filling out quite nicely.

You can see it on the right with the Histrionica on the left:


Some closeups, a bit of a bulge in the stomach area, very active, tough to get a shot:




I think a full recovery is near
