Sewellia lineolata Temperatures
I have a pair of Sewellia lineolata and have discovered, thanks to Hurricane Sandy and 5 days with out power, that they can tolerate & survive temperatures down to 52* F. I have my pair in a 55 gallon, unheated, hillstream tank with north american species (dace & darters). Before I lost power the tank was 73*F. I ran a battery powered airpump normally used for bait buckets

That is cold. I would expect some of the Chinese hillstreams to be able to survive that but would have had my doubts about Sewellia and Gastromyzon. Thanks for the info and glad the fish and you made it through this tough time.
