Botia helodes?? pics included

Post by stoney7713 » Mon Sep 04, 2006 7:12 pm

Once again the LFS had these guys for a few months, never tagged them, well they had a YO YO loach tag on the tank, obvious not the same. They had 4, smallest being ~3inches largest ~6inches. I got them for $3.99 each once again because they didn't have a clue what they were. Gotta love buying unidentified fish

So sorry for pics of fish in the bag but they are really elusive in the tank

I think you're right there, except......just as in Jim's post on sidthimunki, there's a name change and it's Syncrossus helodes.

I think I see vertically oriented oval spots behind the pectoral fin, yes?

Martin.

Try and post some pictures, once they have settled in and coloured up.

Nice looking specimen.
