Worried about my female Sewellia.

Post by Hokum » Sun Mar 17, 2013 7:17 pm

I've notice over the last two months two symetrical white patches appear on my breeding female Sewellia.
Are they a bad sign or natural?

Here is a picture of her about a year ago.

Here are pictures with the marks.

There is no bulges, no cotton wool, no symptoms, she seems to be acting normal. It just looks like the area has no pigment under the scales similar to the underside.

Is it something to worry about?

I'm not expert, but that kinda looks like she's scraped herself. Any tight crevices she could have squeezed in to?

Looks like a scrape to me also, like the scales are gone. Keep the water xtra clean and keep an eye on it.
