Hi,
I am looking for the garra pingi pingi logsucker to put in my pond for year round.
Can they survive year round? I live in Corona, CA, it gets to about freezing only a handful of time in the winter.
My pond is 4' deep.
Is the panda variety the same, can they survive year round?
Can someone direct me where they sell these fishes locally in Corona, San Gabriel valley area?.
Thanks.
William

Re: Garra pingi pingi: where can i buy some
I don't know of anyone who currently sells Garra Pingi Pingi, but I do have a handful of tank raised Garra Flavatra (Panda Garra) that are offspring of my pair. If you are interested feel free to message me. I'm also on Aquaria Central if you are a member there (I've sold several through there). I don't think they would have any issue with water temperatures during the winter in a 4' deep pond, but unless there is adequate shade over it, the water may get too warm during the summer.
Mods, if there are any issues with me "soliciting" let me know. I'm not a business, but do have a few young fish left that I have no desire to keep around.
