Hi and welcome to Loaches Online.

There's tons of info on this site, but if you can't find what you're looking for just ask

Why not tell your story of how you got into loaches etc. ?

I always try to include some pictures as they always make things more interesting !

This is my largest male Romio, 6 inches and 20 years old, a really wonderful fish to own.

Hi, I did try and upload pictures, but couldn't, how do I do it?
I acquired my two older loaches from my friend alongside with a 80L tank and numerous other fish. Now I have 2 x 160L tank and 5 clown loaches, I love them.
Just concerned about my middle one (Barny) he doesn't look ill and is playing and eating fine, but I keep noticing him rubbing up against the logs sometimes. Can they do that in play or is it ich? Showing no other signs, looks really healthy.....

Hi, the chances are he will be fine. My loaches do a lot of funny things and rubbing up against ornaments is definitely one of them.

To post pictures I have registered an account with Photobucket, resized my pictures to web size on my computer (600 x 400 or something close), uploaded my pictures to Photobucket, copied the img code shown at the side of the selected picture and pasted it in my message.

Good luck with that. It takes a little time to get right the first time, but afterwards it should be fairly quick to do.

It was quite easy to see the picture by clicking on the link.

Interesting markings on your Clown Loach.

Welcome, Newbe!

I love the photo that you were able to upload... that particular Clown looks very similar to my Giuseppe. =) I'm looking forward to seeing more photos & learning more about your fish, too!
