Hello,
I was wondering whether anyone had tried on of these with Clown loaches? I'm down to one functioning powerhead on my 6x2x2 and considering it but they're £225

Many thanks

This would be way too extravagant for me. It is expensive and is only a pump I believe not a filter.

How would you employ it?

A good quality powerhead costs £40 and does a better job for me.

I have my filtration and maintenance sorted, perfected over a 20 year period.

Just a personal observation on turnover: I would be retain the ability to adjust it if possible. My Clown Loaches hid more to be out of the current when I exceeded my current 7.75 times turnover (Total amount of filtration in litres per hour divided by the tank volume in litres).

As you say we mostly have sorted filtration. This would be to replace my powerheads which were tunze and expensive in the 1st place. I used to have two which they enjoyed. With one its half the fun.

Well the article is positive about the product so if you can afford to give it a try it would seem a good risk and an interesting addition to your hobby.
