Cooperative Sidthimunki's
Well I think my Sid's have finally realised that if they cooperate when they see the camera they will get black midge larvae and bloodworm for tea (inspired by Emma's bibery of Marge with prawns) .

They sure did , They are eating well now and really enjoying a mixed diet of pellets and frozen food especially the bloodworm and black midge larvae. They will be moving to a new tank soon because they are starting to harass the cories a bit. Im sure some Nigrolineata from your shop will get along with them fine .Emma Turner wrote:Lovely Chunky 'Munki's.
Hope they enjoyed their reward!

I know one thing, If I was able to go to Emma's shop, I would be in serious trouble. I would be in there wanting to buy something every dayMad Duff wrote:Im sure some Nigrolineata from your shop will get along with them fineEmma Turner wrote:Lovely Chunky 'Munki's.

Well, I hope we don't get into too much trouble with Mark for hijacking his thread.... ....Barracuda518 wrote: Off topic, but Emma, what kinda cories do you stock?
I do like to stock quite a number of Cories at any one time. At one point I was only getting a lot of the fancier varieties in on a seasonal basis, when the weather was cooler. This was because our softwater system used to get very warm (our RO is produced inside the shop, so water changes did not help). We now have a chiller on the system to keep the temperature at sensible levels, so I am gradually building up my stocks again.
Here is a list of what we have in at the moment. I'm sure there are actually a few more species we have that I can't remember offhand, but here goes:
Brochis splendens
Corydoras aeneus
Corydoras aeneus albino
Corydoras paleatus
Corydoras paleatus longfin
Corydoras julii/trilineatus
Corydoras panda
Corydoras eques
Corydoras caudimaculatus
Corydoras axelrodi
Corydoras arcuatus
Corydoras habrosus
Corydoras gossei
Corydoras similis
Corydoras guapore
Corydoras venezuelanus
Corydoras sterbai
Corydoras sterbai albino
Corydoras seussi
Corydoras griseus
Corydoras melini
Corydoras nanus
Corydoras punctatus
Corydoras reticulatus
Corydoras schwartzi
Corydoras rabauti
Corydoras undulatus
Corydoras ornatus
Corydoras zygatus
Coming in from Brazil/Germany over the next 2 weeks should be:
Brochis britskii
Corydoras erhardti
Corydoras pulcher
Corydoras ellisae
Corydoras atropersonatus
Hope you like the list!

It was worth it to find out that you are getting Brochis Britskii inEmma Turner wrote: I hope we don't get into too much trouble with Mark for hijacking his thread.... ....
When you get them in could you let me know a price please Emma, and if its ok I might reserve a couple for when I come down in December . I am getting 5 Brochis Splendens in the next couple of weeks to add to the 3 I already have but I have been looking for B. Britskii for ages, I've got more chance of finding rocking horse manure up here .
