I posted a few questions involving my 55 gallon loach tank, but didn't go on in summer( bass fishing season!).I wanted to update everyone here and ask a few questions.
The tank has 3 2 in. clowns, a 4 in. common pleco, a 2 in. geophagus, and 2 2 in. kubotais. They are all healthy, happy, and growing well. The clowns and pleco will eventually move to a larger quarters.
A few questions I have:
1 of my clown loaches plays dead, but the other 2 don't. Why is this?
I'm planning on moving my yoyo loach from my 26 gallon into the 55.A different website said that yoyos are more tolerant of being kept singly than clowns. Is this true, and do I need to add 2 more?
Is there any way to slow the growth of my pleco without hurting or starving him?Hes doubled in size since I put him in 6 months ago.

Hmmm, no. Any organism is designed to develop at a certain speed, and slowing it down will hurt it.Is there any way to slow the growth of my pleco without hurting or starving him?Hes doubled in size since I put him in 6 months ago.
If it is a common, expect it to double again...soon enough. Or triple.
If it is a sailfin, expect more.
(Sorry, I'm not trying to make fun of the situation, I have one too. 10", and growing.)
