hi all it been awhile since starting a thread or posting (been reading what I can though)
Today I picked up a group of 5 Homaloptera confuzona!
No one told me they where in (work at a local store)
What I would like to know is some parameters for a tank setup.
I know there river tank fish and i will be setting this up but at the moment there in a tank with hi turn over and oxygen but not a river tank.
Any help would be nice. I will post pics if i get any good shots.
Kind Regards
Ray

Cool fish Ray! Care of this species is largely generic for the whole orthogoniata Complex of Homaloptera.
This should cover it......

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
thanx martin you are as always a great help around here.
I got them in a small 2 foot but will get another 2 foot tomorrow that is about 135 litres. will hook up a ehiem pro 2 2026 and also get a powerfull powerhead to setup the river tank concept. The joys of just buying a pro 3 for a 6x2x2 which means i got two spare filters and one is going on this tank!
I got them with 6 tweedie's and 2 yoyo but seen bit of aggresion from the yoyos so they will be traded in to help buy the new tank. (sadly I think there a pair! They have slightly different body shapes and also one id palerthen the other.)
There going into a breeding programe to see if i can master the loache!
Got to have a try dont I.
