How are the Mooseface Loaches doing so far? Have they settled in well and have you had any losses or illnesses?

Hi Robin/Graeme,
Thanks for asking after the little Moosies!
You'll be pleased to know that all are doing well, and apart from the 2 fish that we found dead-on-arrival when the shipment came in (about 3 weeks ago now), we have suffered no losses :D
They are at present residing in a tank on our softwater system, which currently has a general hardness of 5 dH and a pH of around 6.5. They seem to enjoy spending most of their time partly submerged in the sand, appearing to 'swim' around in it. Some people have commented that they look like 'mini alligators'!!!
They have been treated with Levamisole, and receive several feeds a day of small frozen foods such as daphnia, baby brineshrimp, and cyclops. Two of them even appeared to be checking out algae wafers the other day, which we'd put in the tank for a couple of small L number plecs that are in there with them (you can see this on the RHS of the first photo below).

Here are a few quick shots I took a couple of days ago:

I'm pleased to even know you by abstract text messages. And very jealous!!
Best of luck with them... You kind of want to dangle food on a meathook in front of them like an Oz alligator tour.
