Well what can I say.

I hate living in Australia when being a loach and catfish lover!

lol I get all my equipment from an online store in queensland. They sell pretty much most stuff, and its all at least half the price of the LFS'.

http://www.theaquariumshop.com.au/ If your interested.

Havn't tried buying fish either online or overseas though, but if the prices keep going up I'll have to look into it.

As for breeding the bristlenose, my sister inlaws trying to breed them, but so far no such luck.

thanx for the tip Setsuna.

Im lucky enough to work at a aquarium store (not bloody Local 30 minute drive each way!) And I do get things at nice prices. Ehiem Pro3 cost just over the price of a 2028 with media pack!

I know what is around on the list and it is nothing like normal cause of our laws. That why I had to post the link to the loaches.

What setup your sister inlaw got for the bristlenose's?

I got L104 breeding all the time but cant raise the young. Think I may have cracked it this time so touch wood it sorts its self out.

I want my 6x2x2 panaque tank! Just to bred them! That what I call madness!

I'm not sure on the specifics, I think its a 2 or 3' long by 1.5' wide and high. I know shes got a 6" male with two females (both slightly smaller then the male). Shes got a large piece of driftwood, lots of 'tunnels' and live plants.

Theyve been in there since August and they dont seem to show any interest in each other. She's going to strip the tank now because (like all her other tanks atm) its overrun with snails.

Any tips?
