for an example of a protection (try to steal the fish photo).
Damn!
It took me 20 seconds to "steal" the original image instead of the usual 3 seconds

I run a fan page web site for a friend of mine in the music business. I can't even begin to count the number of times I've found people using photos from the site to sell things. One of the more surprising ones happened while I was listening to one of the music channels provided by my cable company. There in big beautiful color was a photo I had taken of the artist.

About 10 seconds to do a screen capture, would have been quicker but had to wait for the program to open

Screen capture obviously would defeat any protection, nothing one can do about it, but captured image still needs to be uploaded somewhere (which I believe is a clear-cut copyright violation unlike mere linking to) Something like what was done on dyno.lm.com page should be good enough to stop most (not all) of unauthorized use just by making it more difficult.
