hi all
im new to your fourms
i have looked around and read alot on them
but i finally registered today

anyways
i kept fish for about 5 years
when i was younger
mainly big aggressive fish
and then took a long break

then i got married had a kid and bought a house

1 day about a year ago my friend mentioned seeing a piranha tank
so
i found some and set up a 75 gal
3 months later
i bought a 180 for my 13 reds
at that time i walked into a store with my wife and things changed
they had a 125 filled with about 70 clowns of all diffrent sizes
plants rocks sand bottom
and my wife said she liked it
so the empty 75 turned into a sorta community tank
it had a small eigenmanni piranha
10 clowns from 6-1 inch
10 skunks all under 2 inch
and a few plecos

so anyways this was all around last jan
in june a friend commented on my piranhas
he wanted them bad
i madem go out and buy a tank (a 180)
and toldem if he could keep fish alive in there id sellem my fish
welp needless to say he got 10 of my redbellies
i put my 3 carbies into the 75
my son got the eigenmanni piranha
and all my loaches went into a 55
i moved around the 180
and got it ready for what it is now

10 yo-yos all around 2 inches
8 clowns 7-3inches
13 skunks 3-1 inch
7redfin danios
1 oppollo shark
2 black white angle fish
3 tiger barbs
4 cherry barbs
4gibby plecos
4 blue moon guramis
rocks sand some fake and real plants (will be going full real plants shortly)

future plans are after the plants get going
about 50-75 cardinal tetras
a few more clowns skunks and yo-yos
and i think im gonna get rid of the gibbys for some gold nuggets

as far as picts
i dunno yet how to puttem up on this site
and if it requires a host i dout i will put any up
(sorry im not very computer savy)
duh i just looked and found the topic on picts
soon to come

but i would like to add
this place has a boat lod of info thats incrediable
you guys rock
