Interesting "plumbing" possibility for river tanks

Post by grizzlyone » Mon Jan 15, 2007 10:20 pm

I was in Petsmart today to make fun of the employees (just kidding)...and saw something interesting and was thinking about how this might be very useful in a river tank to keep the powerheads out of the tank....

Its on the site as:

Lifegard® Customflo(TM) Water System Kits

Deluxe Kit Features
Extend your possibilities with this deluxe package. Enables the creation of any desired flow patterns in any size aquarium tank and with any make or size filter. It can be used on large or small aquariums or to upgrade any existing system. No holes are required since the "over-the-wall" assembly can be swiveled to allow close aquarium wall positioning. The kit includes installation suggestions and comes with four control valves, four spray bars, suction cups, adapters, hydro jet, ball/socket assembly, piping (to include airline tubing), and a variety of fittings.

The deluxe kit runs about $50. Its made by PentAir. The back of the box has some interesting combinations.
