Gravid Sid, any new info on breeding them?

Hey all, been out of the game for awhile but lately noticed one of my sids seems to be gravid (or just fat?):

Last time I was around Greek gave me some good info here:

Is that still the most up to date information on breeding sids?

Iirc the links Greek gave me in that old thread went over that; I assume the guy is still keeping the recipe top secret?

Sids have been "bred" accidentally. "Zufallszucht" in German, means breeding by chance. "Breeding" would mean to know all parameters to reproduce them. That's not the case and deliberately breeding in tanks doesn't happen. All reports have in common: large tank, heavily planted, good food and a trigger (water change). I don't remember any "success" to have been continued. Mine of the 90's included (one youngster). As far I can see, not one pics of details or the bringing up of the youngsters in the web.
It is true, that they have been bred using hormons, in a labratory. But this kind of breeding is quite expensive and they have been bred now for many years in very large ponds. No hormon-bred specimen in the trade since at least 10 years.

all my efforts were in vain. But they are still giong strong. And I'm shure that they spawn. We will see ...
