Clown Loach Fry!

Post by bond7110 » Mon Nov 05, 2018 3:10 pm

I have checked my tank tonight and I have found a clown loach fry swimming about the tank. Really wasn't expecting to find this little guy in my home aquarium. I have rescued him for now into a net so he doesn't get eaten.

It would be great if it is a clown loach but it doesn't look like it to me. What other fish do you have in the tank? If he had made it thus far, I'd live him be in the tank. Nets are not a good place for any fish so you're stressing the hell out of the poor thing.

Looks like some barb to me. Not a loach, the belly is too curved for that

Thanks for the pic, but it doesn't look like a Clown Loach to me either.

I'm with Bas on this one.
It looks like Barb fry to me because I kept Filamentosis for a while. When I discovered a juvenile in my tank I was astonished. Huh? Clow loach fry? But I don't even keep Clowns!!?¿
And after some research I found out it was a Filamentosis baby
