Weird red algea?

I've got a hillstream tank for quite some years now.
Including high flow and oxygen ofcourse.
But i've always got these ugly red algea on my rocks and plants.
I wouldn't mind it if it was green but red isn't really appealing.
The tank gets a waterchange every week for about 20% / 30%
The fish are doing fine and seem to enjoy the algea.
There's also some beard algea but thats not the biggest problem, my stiphodons love to graze in it.
And i could remove the rocks and clean them but the red algea would be back in about a couple of weeks.
Does anybody have an idea what this is or how i could make it more green?
Or does everybody got this in their tanks and do we need to live with it?

I've had the same, but I can't say I dislike this kind of algae

If you do, you might change something in the tank, favouring another kind of algae - but this might take some time to change

I've had this kind of alga too & I don't mind it either. My fish graze on it & it doesn't seem to take over in any way.

I, at first, thought you meant black beard alga, I have that in 1 tank (sigh).

Black beard algae are another matter indeed. It´s been a long time since I had them, but I don´t know anymore how I got rid if them

Well, it's only if YOUR fish eat, lol. Not all do.

If this is still relevant or will help someone reading this now, the algae grows according to your lighting.
Certain algae types (colors) will only proliferate given certain nm outputs from lighting.
