New behavior by oldest clown loach

Post by samifers » Mon Jun 22, 2020 3:43 pm

Hello,

I have 4 clown loaches, the oldest being 11 years old. Fred, the oldest, has started swimming around with gravel in his mouth, like it’s a toy. When it comes to feeding time, he drops it, but then picks it back up. I’ve never heard of this and was wondering if it’s normal, goofy loach behavior. He is otherwise perfectly healthy.
