Hello everyone. Been some time since i visited this site. Old tank got a leak, and put the entire hobby on pause for some years, but getting ready to set up a new tank again finally
So to the question. Planning a 325 liter tank (85.5 US gallon) tank. Loads of rocks, roots and live plants, with rounded small gravel areas and sandy areas. Dimensions of tank will be 130cm x 50cm x 50cm. (51 inch x 19.5 inch x 19.5 inch approx). I've been thinking about the stocking for this tank, and so far i've come up with :
18-20 cherry barbs
5-6 panda garra (garra flavatra)
and then
8-10 Botia Striata OR
10-15 Dwarf Chain Loach (yasuhikotakia sidthimunki)
How do you guys feel about either of those loaches in that tank? Too small a tank for the Striatas? Better with the dwarf loaches? Or more loaches? Different type of loach?
All tips appreciated!

Re: Botias for 85 gallon tank
I think both options are good ones, however, if it were my tank, I wouold try to change the titteya for a local alternative. But, that is just my taste, not a real comment.
