clown loaches in a 55 gallon/maybe a 72 bf or 75 later?

I love clown loaches and I haven't had any in about a year. I had some in a 29 gallon tank and I thought they were getting to big for it and I sold them. Now I have a 55 gallon tank. I'm thinking of putting my clown loaches in the 55 gallon tank for a while and then moving them to either a 72 gallon bow front or regular 75 gallon tank in a year (cross my fingers). I may then move my Angelicus loaches to the 55 gallon tank. Does this sound like a good idea? How many clown loaches could live well in a 72 bow front or regular 75 gallon tank for the long haul?
