I no longer name my fish, the reason is that everytime i name a fish, loach or not, it dies. when i just say hi loaches in the morning they all seem to live.
Hi, my name is Tom, and I'm a loachaholic.

Big Bertha - the biggest
Ed - the one with the ledge in the strip on the sides
Ned - not as large of a ledge
Spot - a 4 striper with a bit of a spot

the other 7 clowns are new/smaller and haven't been named nor have any of the other fish . . . except for

Pleco Dude - a large common Pleco

I try to name all of my fish...
Patooti is my red fin, because I was talking to my friend (shazam26) and she asked what I'd named him, and I told her I didn't have one yet, and I joked and said I'd just call him Patooti, and she said why not. And so I said, fine, his name is Patooti. That was a week after I got him.
Horse face loach, is, well, unnamed. He just is.
Kuhli loaches, the four of 'em, are the Crazy 88, from Kill Bill because they're always on the go.
One weather loach is Sour Patch Kids, because his spots reminded me of the sprinkles on the candy, even though they're blackish brownish... old, old candy.
The other dojo is Fisseltotte (or some German looking variation), and I can't really explain that because I just don't know how it happened.
My catfish is Tilley, just because.
Neither of my three clowns are named either, 'cause they're new.
And my Chinese algae eater is Bowser. From Mario.
Have I forgotten anyone? Probably.
Oh, the 7 plain guppies are called the Guppy Farm/Fam. I think that wraps it up.
one redfin, one albino redfin, one kuhli loach, one horseface loach, one pleco, one clown pleco, two upside down catfish, two bala sharks in 77 gallons.
more kuhlis and horsefaces soon, hopefully.

I can't believe I am about to talk about this LOL

My albino rainbow shark's name is Jaws. He's a good 6 1/2 to 7 inches long and about 1 1/2 inch thick at his widest point of his belly.

My largest Clown Loach is "Bozo" and smallest is "Cookie".

I have a sand loach of some sorts.. it's name is "Sandy".

Back when I had only 1 skunk botia left after the rest died of ich, I named it "Stinky" - but now that I picked up 3 more they are now collectively "The Stinkers", with the oldest affectionately called "The Original Stench"

My clown pleco, who has to be the toughest little fish I've got (Never seen a small fish stand it's ground like this one!) is named Butch.

My 5 swamp darters are collectively called "The worm guys" , after the worms in Men In Black.

My one remaining Juleii (sp?) Cory I named Morris, after the 9-Lives cat, because this little fish should have been dead a long LONG time ago, and has survived everything from being in the cat's mouth to having been on the carpet for an undetermined amount of time!

And last but not least, I named my daughter's black kuhlii loach "Darth"...

Ok, I'm going to hide my face now

I love your guys names!!!!!! Very creative.

My husband named our gobies and loaches.
Gobies are Floyd and Goober
Loaches are Lucy and Larry.

He doesn't have naming rights on children or goldfish.

I name my fish, the ones I can tell apart anyway.

Loaches - 2 of 6 have names: Squishy from being stuck behind the filter and still being a bit squished, and Spot as he has a big black mark on his nose from getting it stuck in a PVC pipe (drilled holes to make it sink better)

Pita is my oscar (pain in the @$$)
Ellie is my bichir (From CSI, cute, but annoying :P)
Wonkey and Lumpy are two of my 30-40 something corys (wonkey is almost white but not albino bronze cory, and Lumpy has a humpped back)
Erick is my betta (cause I have a fish license lol)
Coco, Coca, and Coffee are the Pacu (south americas biggest 3 exports)

and I think thats it really. Every time I name my husbands fish they die, so I stopped lol

Oh, I have a giant brown apple snail named Narco :)
too many lovely fishies, not enough room for more tanks - fishkeeping nightmare :P
