Stupid question about how to feed freeze-dried shrimps

Post by MARITA » Sat Mar 31, 2007 3:12 pm

I wanted to feed some of the freeze-dried baby shrimps to my little loaches; but they just float on top (and get stuck on glass of tank).
I feel kind of stupid asking this, but is there a "special" way to feed the shrimps (and freeze-dried bloodworms) so they get to the bottom of tank? :?

try soaking them in a little tank water for a while before feeding. They should sink better then.

I find that the larger ones sink pretty well if you hold them underwater and squeeze all the air bubbles out. Haven't tried it on smaller freeze-dried, but probably worth a shot.
