:D I just picked up a V. maassi at the lfs today. they had 3 last week but only 1 left today :( It was only $8, I'm on the list for more if they get any. I will post some pics soon. Thanks to all (esp. graeme for the pdf) that posted on the previous V. maassi thread. The information was very helpful.

V. maasii in Wisconsin, Wolverine? Nuts! I have been pressing for these fish for a while here, and I thought I had the advantage being on the Pacific Rim, with lots of Asian "products" coming through. Best of luck to you!

In the north of Wisconsin lives the world's largest muskie. See if you can build a loach museum - now that would attract attention! I mean that in the best of spirits.

Mark,
lol, I'm working on it. I am in the process of setting up all 43 of my tanks (13 thus far). Loaches will definitely be the best represented.
I haven't seen the musky but there is a large bass statue in Ashland (my old stomping grounds).

Get on up to Hayward... Where fish - or fishing - seems to be sacred:

There's a viewing platform in the thing's mouth, apparently!

Maybe I should move to Wisconsin...
I've only been looking for these fish for three years...have a planted sand tank all ready to go inhabited by other fish just in case...drooling, I need a bib

Damn! And I have my brine shrimp hatchery all up and running so we'd get that lovely red line...

That sure looks like the straight goods. Congratulations again. Please post a photo of the new environment for the fish.
